This sun-drenched great room features French white oak flooring, a fireplace of Santa Barbara sandstone, and a dramatic vaulted ceiling with exposed beams.

In this post, we feature a recently completed project located on the “mesa” in Santa Barbara. This oceanside neighborhood has trasnformed greatly over the years. Long ago, the mesa was an isolated bluff that once had a castle, an airstrip, a forest of oil derricks, and farmlands. Today, it is a beautiful and spacious residential area of our small city, home to several coves and parks. We were thrilled at the opportunity to contribute to the architecture of this beloved neighborhood.

This project was a complete teardown and rebuild, coming in at a comfortable 2,500 square feet. Featuring an efficient floor plan on barrier-free single level, this design allowed our clients to take full advantage of the indoor/outdoor lifestyle for which Santa Barbara is famous. Scroll down to take a tour!
