Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (with the exception of intern applicants) with strong design skills in the application Revit. Organizational, and interpersonal skills also preferred. Candidates with relevant experience will be given first consideration. As an architectural draftsperson/designer with our company, you will join our project teams to help facilitate project details through design development, Revit drafting, and project follow thru in planning. Demonstrate CAD competency in drawing set up for any type of project, management and use of CAD files, standards and office protocols.

What You Will Do:

  • High level of drafting for various residential and commercial projects
  • Work with Project Manager and Lead Architect to ensure project accuracy and efficiency
  • Frequent meetings with clients, consultants, design team and CA lead Architect


  • 1-3 years of experience designing in Revit
  • Strong interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Word, Excel
  • Experience in design including familiarity with different materials and styles

Internships at CA

Chappell Architecture maintains an open invitation for architectural interns. These paid and unpaid  internships can range from 3-6 months, whether during session break or during a longer summer break. During this time, interns will be exposed to the wide range of tasks and dialogue that go into the planning, production and execution of projects, both commercial and residential. We view these internships as an extension of our staff mentoring and desire to foster growth of our collective knowledge. In addition, this experience gives interns the opportunity to attend design meetings, Lunch ‘n Learns and various office wide events. We hope you will consider joining our intern team!
